Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, pick up and transferred to Hotel for overnight bed and breakfast.
Climbs Begin: Marangu Route to Mandara Hut
Your adventure starts on the Marangu Route, known for its gradual ascent and stunning scenery. After 4-5 hours of trekking from the Marangu Gate (1,830m), you’ll reach Mandara Hut (2,700m), passing through lush rainforest along the way. Enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain and the chance to spot local wildlife. At Mandara Hut, you'll have time to rest, acclimatize, and prepare for the next stage of your journey.
Today, you'll trek from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut (3,720m), a journey that takes approximately 6-8 hours. As you ascend through alpine meadows, you'll witness dramatic changes in the landscape. The views become more expansive, and the air grows thinner as you approach higher altitudes. Upon arrival at Horombo Hut, you'll have time to rest, acclimatize, and prepare for the next stage of the climb.
Today, you’ll continue your ascent from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut (4,703m), a challenging 6-8 hour trek. As you move higher up the mountain, the landscape becomes more barren and rugged, offering dramatic views of the surrounding terrain. Once at Kibo Hut, you'll have the evening to rest and prepare for the final summit push.
Today is the big day! You’ll begin your summit attempt at midnight, ascending through the night to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After conquering the summit, take in the breathtaking views and celebrate your incredible achievement. From there, you'll descend back to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.
After a good rest at Horombo Hut, you’ll trek back down to Moshi. Congratulations on completing your Kilimanjaro trek! This marks the end of your adventure, and we’ll celebrate your success before transferring you back to your hotel in Moshi.
After an early breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your departure flight back home.
